A Danish warship in the Gulf of Aden has rescued an number of suspected Somali pirates after they sent out a distress signal in rough seas. The Danish crew handed the pirates onto the coast guard in Yemen before destroying their boat which is reported to have been heavily armed. The Danish warship is part of a NATO task force deployed to combat the growing probem of piracy off the coast of Somalia.
