A jury in Moscow has acquitted three men accused of helping murder the Kremlin critic and journalist Anna Polit-kovskaya. The verdict leaves Russia's most politically charged killing in years still unsolved. The prosecution said it would appeal. But the failure to get a single conviction for the crime has raised questions about Russia's resolve to protect investigative journalists.
