Garment workers in Bangladesh have returned to factories after days of protests demanding the recruitment of more men and wage increases.

Bangladesh is one of the world's biggest clothing and textile exporters, and women have dominated the industry for decades. Unemployed male protesters have now taken to the streets for days to call for more factory jobs for men.

The country's interim government has agreed to review the monthly minimum wage, but can it tackle the garment sector's longstanding issues?
