Cabrera-Bello leads

Having ended the first round tied for the lead with Denmark's Lasse Jensen and England's Daniel Gaunt, Spaniard Rafa Cabrera-Bello opened up a lead on the second day of the BMW International Open in Munich, ahead of the final two rounds.
Cabrera-Bello, who ended round one of the tournament at the Eichenreid Golf Club on seven-under par, sinked five birdies on the way to a five-under par round of 67 on Friday. Bogey on the eighth hole was Cabrera-Bello's only slip-up, as he holds a one shot lead over England's James Morrison - the 30-year old added to a strong five-under par 67 in round one with a six-under par 66 on Friday to sit at 11-under par.
Behind Morrison are Lasse Jensen and Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey. The 36-year-old Hoey scored a three-under par 69 in the first round and recorded the score of the day on Friday with a seven-under par 65, to bring himself into contention for the 2 million euro (2.24 million dollars) prize pot. Jensen birdied the last hole to keep himself level with Hoey on the leaderboard.
Kaymer misses cut after dramatic final hole
It was a disappointing end to his home tournament for top ranked German Martin Kaymer. After an even par first round, the two-time major winner ended the second round one-under par, missing the cut by a single shot. Kaymer, who had played a superb back-nine on Friday, bogeyed on the last hole to finish over the cut.
Kaymer looked to be heading for a meltdown as he bogeyed three of the first seven holes on the front-nine. However he also recorded two birdies and after three more followed in the back-nine, Kaymer headed to the final hole level with the cut score of two-under par. In the 25 times that Kaymer had played the eighteenth hole at Eichenreid in his career, he had only once shot bogey.
But Kaymer put his tee shot into a lake down the left-side of the fairway. Kaymer's ball had hit a tree before crossing the red hazard line. After discussion with television crews replaying the shot, Kaymer was forced to take a penalty stroke.
Kaymer continued and played an impressive lay-up shot over a tree before chipping his fourth shot onto the green and hitting the flag. Kaymer then missed his first put and had to take a second shot on the green for a bogey.
