Champions League as it happened
November 1, 2017FULL TIME: Yet another disappointing night for German teams in Europe this season. Leipzig's loss is disappointing but may not be fatal but it's almost impossible to see a way through for Dortmund - two points against a team as limited as APOEL is a sorry return. Our match reports will be along any minute.
90+4 -- Porto 3 - 1 RB Leipzig
The hosts seal it on the break. Aboubakar hooked round the corner to put Maxi through and he did the rest. Game over.
90+3 -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
It's decent from Götze but headed away for a corner from which Aubameyang steers a diving header wide.
90+2 -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Pulisic us taken down just to the left edge of the box. Great position for a free kick.
89 -- Porto 2 - 1 RB Leipzig
Leipzig struggling to create much despite their desperation. Porto wasting precious seconds with some late substitutions.
88' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Schürrle curls one over from the edge of the box. It's just not happening.
85 -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Götze bustles down the right but overruns it and ends up lying on the floor with an APOEL defender and the keeper.
81 -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
So close to a second for Dortmund as Aubameyang's header is tipped on to the bar. If they can't find a winner in the next 10 minutes or so, it would take a particularly unlikely series of events for them to progress.
78' -- Porto 2 - 1 RB Leipzig
Klostermann next to try his luck from outside the box. The result is pretty poor.
75' -- Porto 2 - 1 RB Leipzig
Augustin limps off and is replaced by Poulsen. Sabitzer fires one over.
68' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Dortmund have all the ball but they can't make it count as Kagawa has a decent penalty shout turned down. It looked like Merkis made some movement to block the ball with his hand.
65' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Yarmolenko comes on for Philipp as Peter Bosz searches for a winner.
62' -- Porto 2 - 1 RB Leipzig
They didn't heed the warning. Danilo seems to stumble but gets his head to it to nod a free kick home.
60' -- Porto 1 - 1 RB Leipzig
Danilo nods a Porto corner on to the roof of the net.
58' -- Porto 1 - 1 RB Leipzig
Upamecano does well to make up ground and block an effort from Aboubakar. The Leipzig center back has been very good tonight.
54' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Kagawa fires one just wide of the post from 20 yards.
50' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Apoel Nicosia
Well, well. Dortmund have been dominant but the Cypriots are level. Pote is allowed to turn in the area and puts it away.
48' -- Porto 1 - 1 RB Leipzig
Werner is off the bench and Werner scores! A typically brilliant lifted finish from Marcel Sabitzer's through ball. Game on.
46' -- We're off for the second halves.
HALF TIME: A frustrating half for RB Leipzig, who trail to that early goal from Herrera. Forsberg came close from a free kick and also had a goal correctly ruled out for offside but the hosts have looked more dangerous.
For Dortmund, it's been much plainer sailing. They've had the game under control and got the breakthrough through Guerreiro but need to pull away in the second half.
Here's the rest of the scores. Besiktas vs. Monaco is a result.
40' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 0 Apoel Nicosia
Aubameyang is denied by keeper Perez, who was out quickly to narrow the angle. Pulisic is unable to do much with the rebound. Dortmund in control but must be wary of the need for a second, given their defending in recent weeks.
38' -- Porto 1 - 0 RB Leipzig
It's getting a little heated here, with Marcel Sabitzer looking particularly tightly-wound. There's a sense Porto are allowing the Germans to come on to them.
31' -- Borussia Dortmund 1 - 0 Apoel Nicosia
GOAL! Guerreiro collects Kagawa's through ball and dinks it over the keeper. A lovely finish from the Portuguese player on his first start since injuring his ankle in the Cofederations Cup in June.
Porto 1 - 0 RB Leipzig
30' -- Leipzig have the ball in the net but it's offside. Augustin pulled back to Forsberg but the Frenchman was off.
Borussia Dortmund 0 - 0 Apoel Nicosia
27' -- Plenty of possession but not much in the way of penetration from Dortmund so far. A little like it was in Cyprus.
Porto 1 - 0 RB Leipzig
21' -- Forsberg arrows a free kick from a ridiculous distance out. He caught it sweetly but Sa pushed it round the post at full stretch.
Borussia Dortmund 0 - 0 Apoel Nicosia
19' -- Dortmund without a breakthrough but looking the more likely. Toprak, Philipp and Pulisic all have a crack during a goalmouth scramble but nothing doing.
Porto 1 - 0 RB Leipzig
17' -- It could almost be two for the hosts. Aboubakar made a nuisance of himself and took Gulasci out the game but Orban just nicked it away from the man following up.
Porto 1 - 0 RB Leipzig
13' -- Porto lead! Leipzig fail to clear their lines from the corner and Herrera passes it in to the far corner. Gulasci might have done better with that, it wasn't the most powerful strike you'll see.
Borussia Dortmund 0 - 0 Apoel Nicosia
8' -- Götze has Dortmund's first pop at goal, chancing his arm from outside the box, but it's easily dealt with by the keeper.
Porto 0 - 0 RB Leipzig
8' -- A break in play in Porto as Marega receives treatment after tumbling as he was headed for goal.
Porto 0 - 0 RB Leipzig
5' -- Frenetic start in Portugal with Augustin and Bruma both bundling in to the box before Porto hack clear.
Borussia Dortmund 0 - 0 Apoel Nicosia
3' -- Encouraging start from Dortmund as Pulisic skips clear down the right. His low cross is cleared before Bartra whips one in to the keeper's arms.
1' -- And we're underway in both games.

The South Stand at Signal Iduna Park is belting out 'You'll Never Walk Alone', as is tradition before Dortmund home games. We're ten minutes away from the kick offs tonight.

They wouldn't neccessarily be mathematically out if they draw but it's pretty much win or bust for Borussia Dortmund tonight. Their disappointing draw in Cyprus last time out was part of a run of five matches where they've picked up a solitary win, over lower-division Magdeburg in the German Cup.
Peter Bosz, who has come under some pressure of late, names Raphaël Guerreiro in the starting eleven for the first time after his recovery from a long-term ankle injury. He'll be at left back, with an attack-minded midfield that finds room for Shinji Kagawa, Christian Pulisic, Max Philipp and Mario Götze.
For RB Leipzig, whose 3-2 win in Dortmund started BVB's poor run, a win would put them in pole position to qualify behind Besiktas, who drew 1-1 with Monaco earlier this evening, in Group G.
They start without striker Timo Werner, who was withdrawn early in their loss to Bayern Munich on Saturday.
