Disabled Ugandans continue to face challenges years after the end of fighting

For 22 years, the armed milita terrorized the north of Uganda, invading villages, killing adults and recruiting their children as soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of people fled their homes. Two years after the militia left the country, people are now beginning to return to their villages, with the exception of those who are too old, sick or disabled to make the journey.
