Living up to its reputation now that the world's eyes are on its home country, German mass-circulation tabloid Bild has again found a way of connecting the World Cup to the physical act of love.

While stopping marginally short of claiming that the World Cup may actually help get Germany out of its current baby-less boom, the tabloid says that the current feel-good factor and experiences of watching soccer at the World Cup will help German couples get it on.

In a poll published in Saturday's edition, Bild claims that 70 percent of Germans are more likely to have sex after watching a World Cup match. They even drafted in sex pschologist Konrad W. Sprai to back up the claims.

"The sweaty players excite the ladies," Sprai claims, "and the man in the house will already be sweating because of the football excitement. What a cocktail for loving!"
