German Stocks Make Gains

German stocks rose on Thursday, led by Lufthansa, Infineon Technologies and SAP. The benchmark DAX index rose 12.61 or 0.3 percent to 4329.81 as of 2:16 pm in Frankfurt. Lufthansa added 21 cents, or 1.9 percent, to its share price, rising to 11.27 euros. Europe's second largest chipmaker, Infineon, added 14 cents, to 7.49 euros, while SAP, the world's largest business-management software maker, increased to 123.75 euros with a 2.21 euro gain.
