Germany is in shock at the tragic events that occured at a techno music festival in the western city of Duisburg on Saturday when nineteen people were killed in a stampede at The Love Parade. The event has been staged almost every year since the first time it was held in 1989 in Berlin. It became world famous, thanks in part, to its peaceful nature. But now it has been overshadowed by Saturday's tragic events and its organisers say it will never be staged again. Investigators are trying to find out precisely what happened and why 19 people lost their lives. Our report explains what is known so far.
