Germany's political leaders begin the search for new presidential candidates

German political leaders are meeting in Berlin to discuss candidates for the election of a new President, a day after the shock resignation of Horst Koehler. Chancellor Merkel has cancelled her participation in this weekends Baltic Summit to devote more time to the issue. The date for the new election has been set at June 30th.
