Hindu pilgrims celebrate cleansing ritual

In India, hundreds of thousands of Hindu pilgrims have gathered to receive blessings at the spot where the Ganges River meets the Bay of Bengal. The annual Ganga Sagar Mela cleansing ritual is held to honor the god of the sun.
