The Palace of Versailles, outside of Paris, is one of the biggest, probably the grandest, and definitely the most visited royal palace in the world. But the Palace’s new, gold-themed, entrance and exit halls recently opened and, in the coming weeks, demolition work will begin with a view to installing…air conditioning, which has got some up in arms.
