Georgia has been producing wine for 8,000 years. And since gaining independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the country has come to embrace its winemaking culture and heritage. Over the past 25 years there’s been a shift from producing tons of mass commodity wine to a revival in organic wine production. Filip Warwick reports.
