After three and a half years of relative political stability the Czech Republic was thrown into turmoil this week as the prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka announced he and his government would resign. It was the culmination of months of tension within his governing coalition over the tax affairs of his finance minister Andrej Babis, the country’s second richest man. Rob Cameron reports from Prague.
