There's been an upsurge in fighting in eastern Ukraine. NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said the clashes have been the most serious spike in violence in a long time. And he urged Russia to use its influence over separatists there to bring about an end to the violence. Roman Goncharenko is with DW's Ukrainian Desk. He first gave Helen Seeney an overview of the situation in the east of the country.
