Sweden's "Pirate Bay" trial has been watched closely by the entertainment industry and the internet community. The jail sentences passed on the four men running the site is a huge victory for those fighting to protect intellectual copyrights. "Pirate Bay" is a search engine like Google.. except it is for downloads. The website allows users to share files on their computers with other downloaders around the world, providing links to thousands of films, music, computer games, television series, and computer software. The motto for the people who use sites like Pirate Bay is: "why pay for something when you can get it for free ???" But a lot of other users see it as a form of stealing.
