In a widely anticipated move, the advisory board of German flag carrier Lufthansa agreed on Wednesday to replace its current chairman in June, before his contract expires. Longtime Chairman Jürgen Weber will resign from his post at the airline's next shareholder meeting on June 18. He will be replaced by his chosen successor and deputy, Wolfgang Mayrhuber. The 61 year old has been at the helm of Lufthansa since 1991.
