The nine men trapped in a mine in Peru are finally free. They were stuck underground after their copper mine collapsed nearly a week ago. The site in Quilque near +++LM-REIN+++ Ica in southern Peru was abandoned 20 years ago, and is one of the country's many wildcat mines. The accident has highlighted safety concerns about illegal mining in the country, one of the world's biggest producers of silver, copper and gold.
