The New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) exhibition in Berlin has been described as the pre-eminent cultural event of 2004. From Feb. 20 until Sept. 19, Berlin’s Neue Nationalgalerie, the New National Gallery, is hosting an unprecedented showing of more than 200 of MoMA’s most significant works. It is the first time ever an audience will be able to view MoMA’s renowned collection in such a comprehensive format beyond a venue in the United States.
