Pele

Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele, dazzled Brazil and the world with his exploits as a footballer. He has died at the age of 82 after a battle with cancer and other ailments.

Born on October 23, 1940, in Tres Coracoes, Brazil, Pele was hailed as the player who made football an art form. He won three World Cups with Brazil's national team leaving behind a one-of-a-kind legacy both on and off the football pitch. He has died at age 82 after a lengthy battle with cancer and other ailments.
