Several sectors of the German labor market have taken a step towards the introduction of a minumum wage. Delegates representing seven different job categories have formally filed applications to set a legal limit on how little someone in their given vocations can be paid. Germany already has a minimum wage for construction workers, letter carriers and cleaning services. Temporary workers are among those who are seeking similar wage regulations.
