The Limits of Wind Power

Wind power is a booming industry in Germany and across the world. But a researcher in Jena, Germany has come to a startling conclusion: contrary to popular belief, wind energy is not unlimited.

That's the finding of physicist and climate expert Alex Kleidon of the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. He says nature has limits when it comes to wind power. He's therefore urging careful consideration of the composition of the renewable energy mix of the future.
