Ethnic clashes are continuing in southern Kyrgystan for a fourth day. Russia is reportedly reconsidering a request to send in peacekeepers. A military alliance of former Soviet republics is meeting in Moscow to discuss options. Thousands of ethnic Usbeks have fled the country to escape being attacked by Kyrgiz gangs.
