We begin in Afghanistan where violence continues unabated just one day ahead of an international conference in the capital Kabul. Earlier today, two NATO soldiers and six Afghan policemen were killed in separate roadside bomb attacks in the south of the country. Also four German soldiers were wounded in an attack in the north. Around 70 international representatives are expected to arrive in Kabul for the conference on Tuesday, which is aimed at transferring responsibility to the Afghan government.
