Tropical Storm Hilary drenches Mexico, southern California

Tropical Storm Hilary has brought strong winds and heavy rain to southern California after making landfall on Mexico's Baja California coast, where it triggered floods and mudslides. One person drowned in the Mexican town of Santa Rosalia.
