Turkish police have detained eight suspects after 44 people were massacred at a wedding in the mainly Kurdish south east of the country. The killings were reportedly carried out by four masked men armed with assault rifles and grenades. The interior minister said the attack was part of a blood fued between two families: but there has also been speculation that it is linked to the ongoing separatist campaign by Kurdish militants. +++ SYN MAZ+++
