Food production units
Different so-called "food production units" will be situated at the center of the circle. In these greenhouse-like buildings, food including fruits, vegetables, fish and meat will be grown, in a very small space.

Christal palace
Almost all buildings in the ReGen Village will be enclosed in glass, which keeps the inside warm, protects them from the elements and makes it possible to grow food, even in the homes.

More space for nature
By using aquaponics and other highly efficient forms of food production, the ReGen Village decreases land-use for food production by more than 90 percent, so adjacent land doesn't have to be turned into farm land but can be left untouched.
