Vintage: VW Beetle Convertible

VW built a prototype convertible Beetle in 1936, but Karmann didn’t start producing it until 1949. It’s based on the top model of the normal Bug. DW tests a 1979 VW convertible with a 1.6-liter, 50-horse engine from the 1303 S.
